- Chippewa Pride is coming home! Our roots run deep in Chippewa Falls, and it all started back in 1907 with Chippewa Pride. Long before "light beer" was even a category, Leinenkugel’s introduced this value-forward, premium light lager—making it the ultimate precursor to our later hits like Leinenkugel’s Light in the late '70s. Brewed with pale malt, flaked maize, and the pure, fresh water of Chippewa Falls, it’s a lighter-bodied, incredibly approachable beer that never cuts corners on quality. Though it hasn't been brewed in our original brewhouse since 1975, we are officially bringing this piece of history back to life. Crafted right here in our Pilot Brewery, Chippewa Pride returns exclusively on tap to celebrate our Summer Kick Off. Come raise a glass to the place, the history, and the pride that defines us!
