Sorry, we cannot ship Leinie's directly to our customers.
Each day we're asked by Leinie-loving folks, like you, if we can sell and ship our beers directly to them and/or their family and friends. Boy, it's hard to say no to such great fans, but lawfully, we have to. We've brewed Leinenkugel's for 140 years and we plan to continue brewing up here in the Northwoods for all the generations to come. Our Leinie's Long-arm-of-the-law explains best why we can't accomodate your beer shipping request:
"Unfortunately, Leinenkugel's is not authorized for sale in all states; nor can we sell and ship beer directly to customers who live in unauthorized states. In the states we are authorized to sell, state laws require that we sell our beer to distributors, who then sell the beer to the retail stores where consumers buy it. By selling beer directly to consumers through the internet or telephone orders, we would be bypassing this distribution system, and subsequently violating state laws. We are always trying to expand our distribution markets based on consumer demand, so feedback from consumers such as you helps us determine where we should expand.
If Leinenkugel's products are sold in your area, but not at your favorite store, then you should talk to your store's manager or contact the local distributor about getting your favorite Leinie's brands to your store."
If you live in an unauthorized state where Leinenkugel's is not sold, don't fret. There are a couple of ways to get your Leinie's—as told to us by some of your fellow Leinie-loving brothers and sisters.
- Do not allow visits from Midwesterners unless they come loaded down with Leinenkugel's. This technique works especially well during the winter months, if you live in a warm climate.
- Ask your friends and relatives who live in Leinie Country to check with their local Post Office, UPS or FedEx to see if /how they can send you a Leinie care package.
We are always trying to expand our distribution markets based on customer demand, so your feedback helps us determine where we should expand. Hopefully, someday we'll distribute Leinenkugel's in your neck of the woods.
